I have 5 webs in a tree (actually neighbours tree that hangs over my property)--about 18-20 feet from the ground. I understand that the best time to try to eradicate these webs is in the evening when they return to their webs.

Aside from climbing the tree and sawing the limb off and placing the webs in an airtight bag--what else can be done? We are unable to use pesticides and I don't like that choice anyway.(would it even work?)

I also understand (correctly I hope) that these web worms have a 3 year cycle--can anyone enlighten me on this.

    Thanks, Obe
