Hey everyone, first time poster here. So I decided to buy a washington naval orange tree from gardenworks in north vancouver. I potted it in a fairly large sized ceramic pot that has drainage (see photo) and I used a indoor potting mix (as recommended by the nursery). I have watered it once a week for the 2 weeks I have had it. It is indoors next to a window that I open during the day that is northwest facing. I intend to move it to the southwest facing patio in late may (or when im sure there is no frost). I have been having some issues with the new leaves. The past week they have become soft, droopy and bubbled (see 2nd photo). There are no visible bugs or any sign of them that i can tell. The older leaves are looking fine but show slight bubbling as well. They are not yellowed or have brown tips. I watered it when it first went in the pot and waited untill the first 2 inches of soil went dry to water again (took about a week). I last watered it 3 days ago and the soil is still damp. After doing some reading I am considering removing the tree, changing to an 2 part outdoor potting mix 1 part 1/4 inch cedar bark to allow for better drainage. I am a first time citrus grower and I am not sure if it is not getting enough light, or if it is being over or under watered, or if the drainage and water retention is inadequate. Im hoping some one here has had experience in this and can help me. I am also hesitant to re-pot it due to the further stress on the plant. Tomorrow I am buying a moisture soil tester. I read it shouldn't be less than 50%. I apologize if this was a long read I just want to be as specific as possible to ensure I get accurate information. Thanks alot everyone!
