    hi again
this is the first time my wasabi has looked like this.
my research suggested a sulphur deficiency but i have not tried any remedy yet.
can you suggest how i may assist these plants, please?

    thank you in advance

these plants are grown in complete shade, the sun and direct light never reach them. I planted them in a very rich soil well draining ....composte rotted manure sand, soil etc

These plants look like they have some kind of fungus disease; mine are much greener. I've been growing them in the ground for a few years, and my only real problem has been predation by slugs. Have you been watering them regularly, especially during the warmest days of summer? They like to grow along stream banks.

Could be pH too high? If you are using peat based mix, then sometimes producers overdose lime and completely neutralize peat's natural acidity. Wasabi thrives in acidic soil.
I don't grow wasabi but I've seen tremendous difference in blueberries in the same bed, but part of blueberries in the natural untreated peat (these are thriving) and part of them in the fabricated peat (these are struggling).

    Heh there Sulev
    sorry for late reply

yes you may be onto something. i will take a ph reading and let you know what I find.
It was not a commercial peat based soil I used.
it was supposedly composted mushroom manure.

thank you for sending your reply
    i appreciate that!!!!!
