I have a walnut tree on our property in the shuswap. it is fairly large. the south facing side of the tree is loosing its leaves and fruit and looks like its dying. the other side of the tree {out of the direct sunlight looks as healthy as can be.} Is this normal???

Either a Butternut Juglans cinerea or its hybrid with Japanese Walnut J. ailantifolia. Certainly doesn't look happy; drought is the most likely option given the summer that BC has had this year.
