walking stick, contorted flibert leaves turning

    I bought and planted a walking stick tree in April. It did well for awhile. Now the ends of the leaves are turning brown and a crunchy to the touch. I would like to know when the leaves usually fall off and if you have an idea about what could be wrong. It gets mostly sun and I water it regularly.

    Can you post some photos?

    Note that the contorted plant is a cultivar of Hazel (Corylus avellana), not Filbert (Corylus maxima).
