Please see the attached pictures. I am not sure what type of palm this is. But it is dying. Any help on identifying what type of palm this is, or what's wrong with it, would be much appriciated. I water it about 1/2 a liter of water twice a month. And I let the water drain out into a bowl each time. It is not in the direct sunlight and is kept at about 75 degrees. We have had this palm for about a year now, and the leaves turn brown and fall off. All of the new growth dies within a week.
Hi, this is of the Draceana family. I suggest more sunlight, not direct but lots more light. I also think that maybe this plant might need to be transplanted. It looks to be overgrown for the pot it is in. Try these suggs. and good luck. Nancy
Does it have good drainage? I assume it's living in an inner pot, with the outer pot being ornamental.
Yes it has an inner pot, and has good drainage. I just moved it to a window, so hopefully that will help it some!
