    Hey guys,

I know I do not live in the region that y'all do but hopefully you can help me identify this plant. It seems to be common around here but I cannot figure out for the life of me what it is. I bought one today for my mother (she's a great gardener) but she doesn't know what it is either and wanted me to try to find out how she should grow this thing! Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Oh, thank you! That is it! Now, I am trying to figure out how to grow this thing...online I find conflicting information. I guess they have frequently been brought indoors as houseplants...I would like her to be able to grow it outside, at least in the late spring/summer/early fall if possible but I am unsure as to whether she can. Also, I see some websites that recommend shade and some that recommend full sun. This is exhausting, haha Nevertheless, it's a beautiful plant and thank you for your help!
