I have had this plant and its offspring for over 4 years now. http://www.5pinstuff.com/images/plant1.jpg http://www.5pinstuff.com/images/plant2.jpg http://www.5pinstuff.com/images/plant3.jpg It was a gift from a co-worker who had no idea of its origins. I have had no luck with any of my research to identify it. Its interesting in that it starts off as a normal seedling and after growing about 10 leaves it begins to grow this middle stock which resembles a cactus but it does not appear to be a succulent. The new leaves continue to grow out of the top of the middle stock and eventually arms will grow similar to the original stock with new leaves growing out the top of the arms. The seeds fall off the middle stock after small white flowers have grown out the side. These seeds drop and germinate very readily. I have thrown away dozens of them. I am very anxious to identify it. I hope someone can help me.
Thank you I am the unregistered user who made the request to ID this plant. Thank you very much Ali! That is indeed what I have. I look forward to being able to read up on this now that I know what it is. Brad
