Identification: Unknown bromeliad

    HI,
    Sorry no flower photo. When I first got this plant it wasn't looking very good and I thought it had elongated leaves due to lack of light. It has come back very nicely and the leaves continue to grow to extreme lengths.

    It'll be much easier to ID once there's a bloom. From the dominant red coloration, I'd say Aechmea of some sort, but without a bloom it will only ever be a tenative ID.
