At first glance it looked like litchi but upon closer inspection it looks more like an arbutus (which is not a fruit tree). Arbutus unedo or A. 'Marina', perhaps?

Is there a common name for that tree? Those aren't fruits?
What is the average mature size of the Arbutus?
I certainly appreciate your help with this!

Yes, it's Arbutus 'Marina', from England via California. Botanically the balls are fruits, from a culinary standpoint not much of one: the "unedo" species name for related strawberry tree translates to "I eat one".
