UBCBG - Closed on January 20?

    We tried to visit the garden yesterday, but it was closed at 10:15 AM. Does anyone know if this was a temporary closure or how long it will last?

    Eh? It is supposed to be entrance via the Shop in the Garden for the winter, and the shop should have been open. Shouldn't have been closed for any reason.

    Oh, I thought it was the shop you can't enter - that was under construction last time I was there, but the turnstile entrance to the garden was open.

    On Sunday the 20th the Shop was closed. The staff who normally open the gate were not here and new procedure had not been put in place, so the gate remained locked. Sorry for this inconvenience. As of the 21st the renovated shop is now open and should be every day from now on.
