I was given four nameless plants. I have been able to identify two of them, but these two are giving me more trouble. I have found things similar, but not quite right. Any ideas? I have small children and a dog too, so if they might be poisonous if eaten that would be good to know. Thanks.

#1 and #2 perhaps an Aglaoema, aka Chinese Evergreen? Harry

The first one appears to be a species of Calathea, possibly C. concinna. The second one reminds me of Anthurium but that's only a guess.

After looking at Calthea concinna I agree with Junglekeeper. Harry
