    As if elephants etc. wouldn't cause their own set of problems.

    At least elephants have the advantage of being easy to eliminate if their performance is not up to expectations.

    It was suggested the elephants be sterilized to prevent breeding.

    Not here
    Enough animals on site to clear out the grass would be plenty enough to do unwanted damage, one follows from the other. Increase in their number not required for a problem to develop.
