Identification: Tree ID

    Location:
    Tiruvannamalai, INDIA, but I travel a lot!
    This tree was growing in a clearing in a predominately Redwood forest, beside a dry creek at the foothills of Mt Tam, Larkspur, Marin Co. CA (Nth of San Francisco)
    Not sure if these are all the same tree. Could it be Big Leaf maple?

    Yes, Big-leaf Maple Acer macrophyllum.
