Identification: tree 13 (pinus)

    Location:
    Tiruvannamalai, INDIA, but I travel a lot!
    Michael, are these all the same species? The 2 cones look like they come from different trees.

    They're all Pinus ponderosa subsp. benthamiana. The first cone is one from last year, very weathered and disintegrating; the second is a fresh cone from this year, still with its mature colour.
