I live in Austin, Texas and I have a live oak that requires extensive root treatment. The arbor company has asked me to remove all plants around the tree. I have a Hybiscus plant that has green leaves and some flowers that must be transplanted to another location. I have heard that fall is the best time for this, but I cannot wait. Is there anything I can do to ensure the survival of the plant?

Most hibiscuses are extremely easy to cultivate from cuttings. That would be the easy way...
