I purchased 2 kay parris magnolias approx 2 ft specimens with a single 1/2 in,. trunk. I planted them about 12 in. from a wall,and would like to train them to branch about 6 -8 ft off the ground. any advice on pruning technique or resources to read greatly appreciated.
