Last year in early december, I got a hot tip on a nursery going out of buisness. The nursery was about two hours away from my house. I went on the expedition and found this gem of a tree. The tree cost me $85. At the time, the tree looked half dead, but I took a chance anyway. These were the first pictures I have taken of the tree. It looks better and better everyday. I will submit other new pics in a week or so.

The bark is turning red and the leaves are small bright red and very close together. I think the tree is either a Shania or Pixie. If anyone can tell by the pictures I would apprieciate the help.

    Thanks Mike

I think overtime the crotch will not be able to carry the branches, and one side of the tree will split off.

for identification photo graph a leaf measured with a ruler.

Sure would be more impressive and elegant if the whole thing was there. Let it fill back in.
