does the liquid you use to feed a tomato plant affect its growing? example....if you used coke instead of water, would this cause defects in the growing of the plant? p.s. this is for my science project. :]
rofl......yes it certainly would affect the plant...quite what would happen, i couldn't tell you as i never tried coke (beers not so good for plants, especially orchids) so erm, sounds like a fun experiment...
You bet! some things could kill the plant (vinegar for example) and some might make it grow better. Dish water would give the plant additional phosphorus (from the phosphates in the dish soap) and trace nutrients from all the food particles.
