    Hi,

I have a 4 years old mango tree which I bought from a local nursery. We had 30 mango on the 2nd year. The next year we had none though flowers came plenty. This year we had 2, it's sad to say.
We live in the So. California so I don't think the weather is bad for it. I watered the tree generously. Please help. Thank you so much.

You may have to hand-pollinate the blossoms in order to get fruit set. You can do this using a large, soft paintbrush - just lightly dust the flowers.

Maybe it needs a rest period and while produce a lot of fruit the next year, or you should take some of the blossoms off each year so the tree doesn't have use so much energy to produce a lot of mangoes and then rest for a year.

O thank you so much for your kind advise. I shall try that. Should I also trim some of the branches?
