Last year in Anchorage, Alaska, my sister had a plant she identified as "Mountain Rue". After exhaustive research, I have found that this plant was likely a meadow rue in the Thalictrum family. Height was about 4 feet with very light pink/purple flowers. I dug some of the seed starts and brought them to Fairbanks, Alaska, where they survived a hard winter of 55 degrees below. Will post photos this summer when in bloom. An exceptional perennial that I would like to identify closer and find similar varieties. Robert Fox, robertfox@alaska.com
