I have a texas yucca tree that was planted last summer. The leaves have just started turning brown. Do I need a special fertilizer to fix this problem

A search at www.google.com using the term Texas yucca gave me the botanical name Yucca rupicola which I used to search again. It prefers an alkaline soil and excellent drainage in a dry and sunny spot.

Potential reasons for the brown leaves could be too much water, too rich a soil, too acid a soil or too wet a spot. Never fertilize a stressed plant. Correct the problem and your plant will respond.
