British Columbia: ? tellima

    A friend thinks this is a stinging nettle which it certainly is not.

    Is it a Tellima Grandiflora?

    Yes, I believe so. The only other one I get it confused with sometimes is Tolmiea menziesii, but I think that species doesn't have leaves as high on the stem (near the flowers) as the one you've photographed here.
