    Who put the Wagner in wagnerianus?

    was a german horticulturist who was first to discovered this palm and brought it back to Europe. It is believed that the wagnerainus came from the southern islands of Japan. He discovered them in the late 19th century. That is all I know.

    agreed but like I said they are believed to have come from Japan
