I have a Bing Cherry tree, and a Lapin Cherry. The Lapin cherry is about 4 years old, and the Bing is 2 years old. They produce a whole bunch of blossums, but very few of them turn into cherries. We have noticed that they bloom before the bees are around in the spring, is this possibly what is wrong, and what can we do about it? Jan
Trees may still be too small to bear much. Cherry trees don't necessarily load up much anyway. Kinda of the analog to corn plants in the home fruit realm, not the most efficient choice for the small plot but everyone loves what they produce. Also check your cross-pollination, I don't now if these two are cross-compatible or not.
