I put sunflowers into a pot with a variety of other flowering plants - the sunflowers have all withered - I suspect they were overwatered - we are in a school and the students like to water - is there anything I can do to bring them back? - water just the front half of the pot ? Do u think they were overwatered? They were not expensive- I bought them at Home Depot- I fertilized them with 19-18-18 also

Likely not, once a seedling goes on the way out, there usually isn't much to be done but to start anew.

It was not a seedling. It had 5 -6 sunflowers per plant. There r many more sunflowers coming up off the same plants. Thanks very much for your response.

    Too much fertilizer, maybe?
Any evidence of pests, disease, or injury?

Maybe over fertilized. I'll water with no fertilizer for awhile and see what happens. Thanks so much
Also my basil was doing so well in the greenhouse and then I planted it into the bed outside and the leaves are spotted now and not bright green anymore. Ur thoughts ?
