Identification: Succulent?

    Hi! I bought a cactus garden for my mother a long time ago, which I took a cutting from. It appears to be a succulent of some sort with tiny spikes on the edges and some white fuzz sprinkled on. Any ideas?

    Looks to me like some kind of Aloe, but the photo isn't very clear. Have you checked for various species of Aloe?
