Star of Madera Flowers?

I recently purchased a relative? to the Pride of Madera plant, a varigated plant called the Star of Madera. Will this plant's flower be similar to the Pride, purple color? How long before it will flower?

 

Does the label have a botanical name?

 

I've repotted it, no longer have it. It might have been Echina or something similar to it. Sorry.

 

It turns out 'Star of Madeira' is a cultivar name that gives targeted hits when Googling.
