   I have a Daybreak Magnolia that is supposed to grow to 40 feet. It's been in the garden for 5 years and I would like it to hurry up and grow taller. Looking for advice. It's budding now. What should I use to fertilize it?

   Try mulching it before turning to chemical fertilizer.
