Is there a local source (i.e. around Vancouver) for release points similar to the ones seen here? Do these things go by any other name?

Interesting product. Good idea. Got any kids? Looks like a good origami project...or make a cone out of a cabbage leaf - Fatsia might work too, hang it with binder twine & it would all biodegrade. An opportunity for a bit of craft work I would say & a great conversation piece for your next summer soiree.

Haven't used them before but they seem like a good idea. The release of predatory mites in my plant room resulted in much of the carrier (and mites) ending up on the floor.
