Identification: some kind of reishi?

    This fungus is growing on a close-cut stump in the yard, and it measures about 30 cm across.

    It has looked much the same for the past couple of months, although the mushrooms alongside just sprung up in the last couple of days... Any ideas?

    Yes, that is a Trametes. Not sure what the giller mushroom is on the right side of that one picture though.

    Interesting stuff, I see there is lots of it around here, and it only seems to grow on Maple stumps...
