hi my name is fernando and i have this problem with my lawn, for some reason im getting this wet black like moss or like a wet film on certain spots of lawn and mosquitos feed off of it , i tried to seed those spots but it wont let the grass grow or if it does it will eventually die if anyone else have or had this problem , please could you tell me how to get rid of this nasty thing. thanks
It sounds to me like you could have a natural spring under your lawn. This is bad news as you cannot do anything about it. The moss is controllable but the "wet film" sounds bad. Malcolm
