One of our cherry trees has these weird bumps/exposed bark? all over it and we think it's impacting its growth compared to our other cherry trees. Image is attached. We live in Washington - any ideas what this is and how we can treat it?

    Thanks!

If you're talking about the almost orange-coloured bumps on the main trunk, those are lenticels, or breathing holes, and they look pretty normal to me. You imply that your other cherries do not have lenticels that look like this and you say they're a different size. Maybe this is a different species or cultivar from the others? Or a different rootstock onto which the tree was grafted?

Is this a fruit tree or an ornamental one? What about the others? Do you want to post a photo of the tree? And a tree and bark photo for the others?
