I used to have a superb white shrub rose called Dr Skinner. Is that still available anywhere? If not then can anyone recommend a white shrub rose that is fragrant, medium size, and hardy for Delta climate? If you know the source of these it would be very helpful. The repeat flowering character of Dr Skinner was so good.

Yes I may have confused the colour. Where can one find a Dr Skinner? It was covered with such lovely flowers which repeated so well.

That was the only discussion I found doing a brief search, and if you read through it you will see they refer to it as being rare.

I know it is rare. That is why I have asked if anyone knows where one can be found. What would be a good alternative that can be acquired though? Not a rugosa. Multiple blooms of medium size. 6ft high x 4 ft wide roughly, not red or purple. Whitey pink, or apricot shades. Repeat flowering. Hardy and disease resitant. (Many are)
