Entire front lawn destroyed by a combination of heat, drought and chinch bugs. The chinch bugs have also been actively destroying grass in backyard lawn closer to shady areas. My question is, I want to apply insecticidal soap to the lawn to kill the chinch bugs, however should I do this before, or after I remove existing dead grass and reseed the area?
