Someone from this forum sent me seeds for a pink double poppy, and my aunt grew them this year and said she's never seen anything like them! Says they have another flower in behind the 1st one, and they are a fully double bloom.

If ya want, I can include some for ya, Penny? My aunt really raved them up to be something - making me real sorry I didn't try them yet. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put them on the list...

I've been told that they are both hard to find, and really popular, and from the looks of them, i can see why.

I have some seeds for Danish Flag poppy drying, another beautiful one.

    No problem, Penny!

I am just mad at myself that they are so nice, and I didn't grow any. My aunt is rubbing it in real good, too! I could just choke her!

I am sending you seeds for these as well - the blue cornflower. This shot belongs to the person who sent me the seeds. I love the blue color...

Oh, I am so glad you like them, Penny.

The seeds pop, in 4 days! Even though it's a bit late in the season, I just couldn't help but grow a couple plants anyway! I have three seedlings growing right now. The blue color is so awesome and I intend on letting them bloom indoors. I just want to see the flowers, so bad.

I am including some for you, but just remember they can be pretty tall I was told - 3 to 4 feet. Grow them at the back of the garden.

Tell him..just desperate. I can't believe years ago I used to even carry a pair of scissors in my handbag, now I just have poly bag so what I 'catch' does'nt dry out on the way home.

I will share the blue cornflower seeds with ya anyway Katalina - I have lots. You sent me so many great seeds before and I like to spread mine around because I sure can't use them all anyway.

I was amazed at how quickly they germinated - inside of 4 days!

    : O

My seedlings are already growing. Might put them outside in a pot, but bring it back inside if frost threatens before I've seen the blooms. I bet they grow super fast. I know I can support them, light wise, indoors or out.

I have just got to see those beautiful blue flowers up-close! I will take pics as my plants grow and bloom...

    Thanks HBL,

Don't send any yet though please. I am surprised that you can grow seed from Pot Marigold from now till next spring.

Yet when I tried in sspring last year the blighters would not sprout till april. I tried to 'con nature' by sowing in january but they knew what game I was at lolol
