I realize there has been some structural changes in the society recently, so the answer to my question may not be solid one way or the other, but does anyone know if there is or is going to be a seed exchange that north american members can participate in?

    all the best,
    Kyle

    Hi Kyle,

TMSBI is doing a seed distribution, with seed coming from Borde Hill, Bedgebury, Sir Harold Hillier Arboretum, Westonbirt, Netherton Arboretum and some private gardens.

In spite of an email to the contrary, we will be distributing seed to both onshore and offshore members, after having obtained the necessary papers. However, in order to participate you have to be a member of The Maple Society of Britain and Ireland. (For which, you might live in France as I do, or anywhere). To cover the ever-increasing cost of postage, we have had to raise the price a little: £8 for onshore (British) members, and we're in the process of figuring the costs for offshore members, (we need to have the final collections to calculate weights).

TMSNA is not yet organizing a seed distribution. I think they're going to try and get it going for next year. The French Branch is organizing an exchange for French Speaking members.

I assume both you guys are in the NA society, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait...

    cheers, -E
