Let's give the Schmitt Cherry its own thread. Here's the description from Ornamental Cherries of Vancouver, by UBCBG's Douglas Justice. There is also a thread that includes some discussion on this cultivar: Spire, Pandora, x Syodoi, Schmittii, Colt; was "Spires or what?". I'm referencing it here because it never comes up on a search for "Schmitt".
