Identification: Russula aeruginea?

    I don't know if u ever got this possitively id'd? Was this a milky by any chance? It looks extremely similar to the Lactarius piperatus.....or Peppery Milky.......

    L. piperatus does not seem correct because its habitat is listed as east of the rocky mountains and in decidous forest., whereas the specimen in question is in the rocky mountains in a coniferous forest.
