rubber tree plant

    Can someone please tell me if I can repot now.I noticed some of the roots on my variegated rubber tree plant are exposed the pot is not very big.Is it safe to transplant now.Thanking you all in advance

    I love your variegated rubber tree! I had this same one for about two months or so and then gave it away to my sister for a gift when she visited. Oh, and then she killed the poor thing less than 6 months later!

    It might be best to wait until spring to repot, just before the push of new growth starts, it should be fine until then. When you do repot, go up to the next pot size. In the meantime, if you have room, just add a little bit of soil to the top to try and cover up any roots.
