My aloe vera has suffered the fate of many of its kind - too much water. All of the leaves have rotted away but before throwing it onto the compost I wonder if the roots are worth repotting into dry soil in the hope that it may sprout again?
    Many thanks for any advice.

Seems pretty unlikely. Is there a creeping rootstock left, with sprouts? Even if the plant had this component originally if the problem was the root area being too wet this part of the plant would probably go first, followed by the collapse of the leaves.

Thanks for the reply. Off to the compost it goes and then off I go to buy a new plant!
