Can anyone tell me the best method to keep my David Austin Roses from freezing this winter ,we just moved to Oliver in the south Oakanagan and it sometimes gets to-18c I'm told. They are planted in the ground.
Would an upturned large plant pot work ,or would that ice up inside? or would we be better to wrap them in burlap over a teepee? We are gone all winter so wont be able to keep an eye on them.
    Thanks
