Rootstock id

    Hello All,
    Hopefully there is a photo attachment with this thread. I noticed growth from the graft union on my acer palmatum dissectum, which can only be from the rootstock. From this forum I had been led to believe that the rootstock was generally acer palmatum, but this looks like something somewhat different. Any ideas what the rootstock might be?
