I'm noticing a lot of new trees on apartment roofs. Is there a company in Vancouver that does rooftop patios? Does anyone know how I'd find out more about planting a rooftop? I'd like to know how to do one that has plants in the ground as opposed to using large pots. I've checked out the greenroofs site but was wondering if there are any other ways to do it.
greenroof vs roof top gardens are not the same beast. Many companies are leery of doing this kind of work due to liability issues. Try contacting the BCLNA and they may have a few companies to suggest.
