I bought a 4ft red hibiscus at Walmart last summer. It lived happily on my deck all summwe and into the fall. I brought it into the house and it slowly lost all of its leaves, dried up and seemed to me, died. I stopped watering. Now I notice leaf shoots coming out of the bottom of the trunk. I'm very excited that I could save this beautiful hibiscus. What do I do? Do I cut the trunk down -cut off the dry-brittle parts? Or is it a desperate last hoorah, and can't,be saved.
