    Ama-no-gawa has a clear sightline to the whole North Shore Mountains in a front yard on the east side of Rupert (where E. 16th would be, if the meridian were not). A second tree, planted closer to home, enjoys no such views. Both just past peak bloom at April 19, 2021.

    The three Avium Plena trees on E. 18th (between Nootka and Lillooet) are in full bloom at April 19, 2021.

    The mature Shiro-fugen trees on both sides of E. 27, running two blocks east of Nanaimo, are nearing full bloom at April 19, 2021.
