hokey dokey, I just assume they are called leaves but anyway. My cat has broken a leaf off my Aloe vera today, I just want to know is it possible to re/grow this leaf into a new plant? it appears to have broken at the very bottom of the leaf so it isnt actually leaking any of the juice, gel or sap (dont know whisch term is accurate)

I think I have heard that you can grow a new plant from a leaf but i just want to check coz it doesnt have any roots. currently I have left it outside, I havent put it into any soil or anything coz I wanna make sure I do it right.

    thanks
