I had a local nursery, with a good reputation, plant a beautiful Redbud Tree five years ago (spring, 2002.) It was becoming a beautiful tree. But last summer a few yellowish, wilted-looking leaves with curled edges developed here and there throughout the tree. I never worried too much about it. Then, this spring, an unusually late, severe frost destroyed the pretty red blossoms on most of the Redbud Trees thoughout the Omaha area. Additionally, this year about 25% of the leaves on my tree have either curled up and turned yellowish with wilted-looking leaves or either the entire branch has died. Nothing has changed ecologically. Help!
