I purchased a red naval orange tree, mineola tangelo, and meyer lemon tree from Home Depot in the winter of 2007. All three trees produced the first year. This year I have vibrant growth on the orange and tangelo trees but no fruit. I took precaurtions to protect the trees during the freezes and have healthy new growth, but no fruit. What is causing this? Many thanks, Steve
Nothing is wrong. The trees are probably still small. Young trees will sometimes not produce for a year or two after being planted. Keep the growth going and they will start to produce more fruit each year.
