I want some information on Japanese Red Maples. Everything Im finding is telling me to plant in a garden/small area. Yet Im reading they grow 20 feet or more. I live on 40 acres in Florida and I want to plant this tree in my front yard for some shade. Is this a good tree to do that or is this just a decorative tree.
